What an amazing weekend....

You ever have one of those weekends that when Sunday night hits, you feel just really good about all that you have done in the last 48 hours! Well, that's the feeling I have right now writing this blog at 9:53PM Sunday night!

This weekend was every bit of amazing! Busy...but, amazing! Chris and I participated in the 40th Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10K on Saturday morning. This race is always special to me because it was my first race in 2010, that launched my running journey and love for running!

I was soooo happy to have Chris on the pavement with me. Even though he is complaining now about his body hurting, I know he enjoyed every bit of it!

The weekend continued with me participating in the launch of Lipstick Iced Tea and Glitter's (LIT) Lunch! It was such a pleasure to share the stage with so many awesome women and even more beautiful women in the audience. The opportunity to empower each other, learn from our journeys was just a wonderful feeling. Thank you to Deondra, April and Whitney for the opportunity and congrats on a beautiful event! 

I ended the weekend spending it with one of my closest cousin, cooking out and sitting out on the deck just enjoying life! It was indeed a great weekend! Cheers to all of you for a great week ahead!
